There are probably partial truths as to why the management shake up occcured in a variety of posts here,but the timing to me points directly at settlement negotiations. I believe that a settlement is the desired end result and that negotiations had hit an impasse that couldn't be overcome with Goldberg at the helm. With first quarter results looming and the asm around the corner,starting fresh with a new ceo to take credit for the negotiated settlement just made more sense.jmho-but expect settlement at 11th hour-makes it look like both sides went to the extreme to get best deal for their company.
