So it seems like they're going more guerrilla style with their marketing with the facebook shout-outs and the CL ads. I would normally be worried about this, but we're talking about independent artists here, so this type of marketing by networking is kind of par for course. Has anyone tried to spread the word themselves on unsigned.com or revernation, etc.? I'm not advocating to do this as I don't know RTG's marketing plan, but I am interested to see if RTG is really doing marketing this way or if its investors throwing out their fishing line to try and lure in artists just to get the artist count up.

Still though, they are giving away 5000 free memberships (i think) and they only have 800 artists? There is a ways to go there, but as millionaires say; "the first million is the hardest" On this point, how are there only 320 or so artists on audigist if he has over double that? By the way, for whoever found that facebook dialogue between dom and that other guy, BRAVO! That was a little gem, and it was quite funny to hear "Pants" as an expression of frustration/disappointment.

I love the fact that bigger names (as big as you can get with unsigned artists) are coming to this service. I will take American Idol contestants all day because that show gets the public familiar with those artists.

Honestly, developments are coming. And at the rate they're coming, what more could you really ask for? (i know the answer to that, but the pps will follow the company to higher heights).
