If Odyssey 1000 was announced last July?: if O-1000 is such an "I-Pod killer", and I-Pod made billions for Apple; if Digital Way was so taken by it that they wanted to produce and market it in Europe and Asia?; if Digital Way is such a Powerhouse in DAPS and has 33% of the market, and wanted to penetrate the markets more; then, how come EDIG management could not negotiate a deal with Digital Way to produce the 0-1000 for the timely delivery to U.S. markets for Christmas?
These are questions raised by a lay person. I am sure there are others that can be asked by management professionals that are more penterating...
JC could and would have delivered on his $2.6 million quarter and "Exponential growth" thereafter, if only he could have the widgets made to go to Good Guys, Circuit City and so on and so forth...
The reports on these boards have said that the DAPS were hot items this Holiday Season, and the shelves were empty. And EDIG
was not there, and the EDIG store is still promising to deliver the few 0-1000's they have orders for...
Shouldn't the management (meaning RP, and Fred Falk) have anticipated they could not get Digital Way to produce 0-1000's and other widgets without cash payments before having their CEO make public pronouncement of $2.6 million quarter?
And, as you say, "I could go on".
Is it sacrilege to raise such simple questions? Or, should I ask the more sinister ones like was this all done be design?
