Like I posted earlier, we were doing this exact thing in the 60' with the Cuban missile and in the Asian Pacific area in the 70's where we tested all these including a high intensity lighting system for detecting movement at night. Someone posted in an article where the most to object to UAV warfare were Pilots of convectional aircraft. It was this criticism, and the thought that they would be replaced led to Military doing away with our funding. The Predator and Global Hawk showed how acurate they could be.
