dredgemaster, roughly thirty years ago, my dad had a placer claim in Atlin BC. I worked it with him a few summers and quickly learned just how much is involved in pulling out this glittery stuff from the earth. Those that have never dredge, sluice or panned have no idea what it takes.
IMO, dredging 50-60 ton per hour consistantly is rather steep but I am not an expert by any means, therefore I will just wait and see.
Listening to you share your experience with dredging, reminds me of my dad. He had built and set up many dredges for people, including doing some work for the Yellowjacket Mine in northern Canada.
I believe SNEY is the Real Deal...only time will tell.
Reporting that they are working the river, stockpiling and setting up a pocessing site is the perfect storm. Those that know, knows what this means. Those that don't, should watch and learn.
