G'm Lizard friends. Here's todays W & T. Last nite about 9:30pm BIG ASS T-stroms had made it over from the Eastside of the Cascade Mt's. MAN, some boomers were right over our shack! They lasted for over an hour and knocked the power out after about 45 minutes.
A pleasant , calm and partly sunny weather day is ahead for the Willamette Valley and Southwest Washington. Thunderstorms will stay east of the Cascades. An onshore flow is now kicking in for all areas west of the Cascades. Coastal residents will see skies remain mostly cloudy. However, more clearing is expected in the inland valleys. Daytime highs will be near 74 degrees around PDX-Vancouver-Salem. Tonight, cloudy skies and lows near 50. Tomorrow, clouds deepen...with a chance of scattered showers. Daytime highs will be a category lower; in the low 60s. The coolest temperatures of the week will arrive tomorrow and Wednesday. However, more seasonal averages and dry weather are likely by the end of the week. (70s)
