Remarkably, many people still cling to the prior world. While acknowledging the windfall and dividend were not real, they dismiss these issues as "mistakes" by EIGH management. While faced with clear evidence that Bryant, Kelly, and Monk have checkered pasts and dubious motives, they claim that market makers and the SEC are the source of the problem.

From what I understand the hard core faithful continue to fervently believe in the NSS myth and are actively lobbying congressman and Senators to investigate naked short selling and in specific the EIGH/CDIV situation.

It is astounding how human beings can look at the same set of facts and draw such radically different conclusions. Certainly, occupying Monk's universe has been a very expensive lesson for the faithful.
