I believe IDCC has some 4,000 Patents Applications waiting to be approved as Patents..No Guru or White Paper on 3G Essential Patent Ownership reflects that not insignificant FACT..We do know that we have been told by some, that Qualcomm held some 55 Essential UMTS Patents back in the 1990's that must have been the reason that they were able to monetize them at the "1/10%" rate..That is why, we are told as GOSPEL, that Nokia resigned themselves to pay Qualcomm for WCDMA UMTS at the same 5%-5 1/2% NET rate they paid Q for cdma in 1992!
