One day i am sure you will understand what a SHORT sale really is.
The number you are referring to is just how many shares the MM's were short, meaning that they did not recover. Lets say Im nite, I begin the day with 100 million shares. I sale 72 million. i am now short 72 million shares. I induce panic selling and buy 52 million of them back. Now I end the day only short 20 million shares.



If you are going to believe what the other guy said, let me sell you some stock.
