WTCT HUGE NEWS OUT: Military Sub-Contractor Has Interest in WatchIt Technology's Diesel Version of the Fuel Savings Device

ARDEN, N.C., May 25, 2011 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- WatchIt Technologies Inc. www.watchittech.com (Pink Sheets:WTCT) stated today that the company has had renewed communications with a large military sub contractor for a specialized version of the Diesel "Fuel Reformer." According to the company, the interest in a modified diesel version of its patent pending fuel savings device coincides with our plans simultaneously test and validate the gas and diesel versions.

According to a company spokesperson, "We in no way intend to reduce or slow our efforts with the gas version of the fuel savings device, but rather we are going to take advantage of a potential opportunity that has been laid at our feet. With the possibility of a potential customer for our fuel savings device right of the gate, the company felt that the additional work load was more than worth the effort."

Having both a gas and diesel version of the fuel savings device opens up a variety of markets that the gas version alone does not affect. The most obvious, besides the military is the over the road trucking industry. With diesel fuel prices topping out at near $4.30 per gallon and higher, the introduction of the fuel savings technology could have a major impact on our defense budget as well as the cost of goods and services.

4) WTCT's revolutionary device "fuel performer"[/color]is a patent-pending technology.

The device, with its patent-pending technology, alters the molecular structure of petroleum-based fuels immediately before injection into an engine. Once altered, the fuel burns far more efficiently, increasing gas mileage and engine wear. Recent testing in December of 2010 showed a whopping 40 percent increase in highway fuel mileage while reducing some of the deadly tailpipe emissions by 60 percent. While WatchIt Technologies has only tested the technology on gasoline (combustion) engines, the Company contests that it is also applicable with diesel-powered (compression) engines as well, and can be expanded for uses such as oil furnaces, making the device suitable for a wide array of applications.

THE DEVICE IS TESTING A DETROIT-BASED POWER TRAIN TEST LABORATORY.

WatchIt is nearing production of the proprietary device as the next round of testing has been scheduled to take place in Motor City, USA. A Detroit-based power train test laboratory will be performing a wide array of testing, analysis and data collection on three separate fuel reformers using the same engine. The basic plan is to establish baseline performance on a specific profile without the fuel reformer installed and then repeat the same profile with each of the three fuel reformers and compare the data.

Information about Fuel Reformer

What is the Fuel Reformer

“Air Pure Systems Development (APS), has been established for the purpose of developing, patenting, marketing, licensing and potentially manufacturing a variety of devices designed to lower output emissions and improve fuel consumption efficiencies of gasoline and diesel powered engines.”

The device in the simplest explanation is mounted in the fuel line between the gas tank and the fuel rails (where the fuel enters the engine).

The fuel flows through our device and is “reformed” using our patented technology. The reforming process essentially makes the fuel able to burn more completely. The reformed fuel is then introduced into the engine as usual. This “higher efficiency fuel” directly yields more miles per gallon (MPG) while the exhaust emissions are reduced correspondingly. The device also reduces wear and tear on the engine. A more complete burn of the fuel produces less contaminant in the engines lubrications that can coat engines parts with harmful substances. Less adulterant in an engines lubrication results in longer engine life (and fewer oil changes)

Benefits of the Fuel Reformer

1. SIGNIFICANTLY Increased miles per gallon. ( Greater than 40% improvement to date....as tested at an EPA certified facility)

2. SIGNIFICANTLY Reduced emissions. (Hydrocarbons reduced up to 75% of EPA baseline standards

3. Cleaner burning results in less engine wear and longer oil life

Gasoline Savings

If the average consumer travels approximately 15,000 miles per year with an average of 15 miles per gallon; therefore, the average consumer uses approximately 1,000 gallons of gasoline per year. Given these assumptions, with the average price of gasoline at $2.50 multiplied by 1,000 gallons equals $2500 spent on gasoline per year. With the use of the Natural Resources Fuel Reformer device, which is estimated to improve mileage by 19%, the average consumer would save approximately $475 per year on gasoline.

[(15,000 miles per year / 15 miles per gallon) (2.50) x 19% = $475 saved per year

Diesel Savings

If the average over-the-road tractor trailer travels approximately 150,000 milers per year with an average of six miles per gallon; as a result, the average tractor trailer consumes 25,000 gallons of diesel per year. The average diesel price is $3 per gallon, totaling $75,000 per year spent on diesel. With the use of the Natural Resources Fuel Reformer device, which is estimated to improve mileage by 19%, the average over-the-road tractor trailer would save $14,250 per year.

(150,000 miles per year / 6 miles per gallon) ($3.00)] x 19% = $14,250.50 saved per year
