I should be (i.e. should have been) calling those numbers. You shouldn't take things for granted (i.e. I shouldn't be). I'm not thrilled by the analysis you've provided, especially in regard to the accountant, when part of the hold up is the accounting! We essentially have heard almost nothing very positive come out of those provided references, except the friend...what is the point of references if they are not going to check out/give you some real praise???
