You can't sell if HNSS has no float. HNSS would have then retired all of their float (real shares) and we would all be left with phantom shares. The heck if I want that to happen.

Do you realize that HNSS could have bought back a significant amount of short shares, retired 90% of their float and we would still be in this exact same position? The stock only goes up in a buyback when the float stays constant and doesn't continue to rise with shorting taking place. The float continues to rise with short shares while investors continue to buy these shares and the stock continues to fall. The company is not at fault here.

It is the shorting that is the problem, not the company. It is the sellers that are the problem, not the company.
