Out of curiosity...

what is involved with stripping out Windows XP, wiping your hard drive clean and starting a computer over with Windows 7?

How long does it take?

A while back, my Mom and sister wanted to go with identical Dell computers with the thought process being that they could each learn and share with each other and the learning curve will shorten.

Sure does seem to me the 2 Dell lemons came out of the same crate.
