Hello xoom: I don't really have a WAG on today's incredible news, as much as I have troubling misgivings about it; thus the earlier posting soliciting others' thoughts on the matter. I received none, but then green is a very seductive number. I was also taken by the fact that I did NOT see positive postings by jackfburns and milkduds, two guys who are as every bit as cynical as I am.

If you think about it, REALLY think about it, today was just like one of the days leading up to March 12, 2010: high exuberence, rapidly rising PPSs, and a flood of new posters; all urging us to buy, buy, buy. There was just something about it that didn't feel kosher. During the latter part of the day, there was even a 'Brian Rosen Bounce', when, at 3:15 or so, Business Week confirmed what he had stated. I kept wondering, 'why would he help us?' But the real focus of my misgivings lay in the fact that today was a perfect day for our EC to chime-in. If we are days aways from being the owners of New-Co, then surely this was the appropriate time to announce that, as opposed to Rosen. Or, in the very least, indicate that a PR would be forthcoming.

Please don't get wrong. I was stunned (in a positive fashion) by the day's events. However, it was (for me) the wierdest day I've ever earned $7,000. For some unfathomable reason, I've not convinced myself that it's real.
