1. First quarter loss was less than expected (-.05 vs -.02) so good stuff in my book

2. Howard and Rip left because....no one knows for sure although the company line was that they did a good job of getting IDCC to where they were but that they wanted more and apparently thought Bill Merritt could get there. Speculation by many is that BM can get a deal done with NOKIA and works better with people. One analyst even said on the c.c. that Howard was a big pain in the arse to deal with...

3. Arbitration announcement still in line for 5-31-05 although a decision could be announced at any time.

4. As far as the board Corp Buyer is Michael Cohen and is leading a charge to change BOD election process/timing. It will be on your proxy.

5. Lots of bickering going on these days....hope to be happy by the end of the month and a positive outcome of NOK arb....
