Damn, I didnt know this:

This letter states that there was short covering of 868 million shares on 9/29/2008. (That could have been a single block.)
A big assumption that this info is correct.


Who could own such a size 868 million of 1.7 billion.
868/1700 is 51%....So this could be why TPG has been quite.
They were flat.

If true: from what price they short. There were conversation bewteen TPG's Boderman and Snake puke Hank "the USA Short" Paulson.

(The USA Short and lend long to banks)
