Rain returns to Western Oregon and Southwest Washington by mid-afternoon. Instead of the sunshine and "mid-60s" weather pattern we saw yesterday afternoon, expect rain to move in this afternoon. Daytime highs will stay near 60 degrees. Tonight, rain turns to showers. We are likely to see a total of .25-.50" of rainfall in the 12 hours... in the Portland/Vancouver area.
Tomorrow, conditions dry out by afternoon. Daytime highs will be in the low 60s. With a southerly upper-level windflow in place all weekend... "pop-up" thunderstorms are likely in the mountains and possibly isolated spots in the valleys. Look for an unsettled weekend of sun , showers and thunderstorms.
