thanksformusic-just another way to look at the situation-I think that both parties have a pretty good handle on the spread of the award with an award in the higher range being most probable(the comment about substituting nok for eric in contract stands out).Nok knows this and does not want to be dictated to again regarding 3g and is probably aware that we have several triggers ready to pull.Jorma is a proud man and does not want to leave a legacy that he was hoodwinked twice by a little company from KOP.The recent litigation in Delaware and UK are just bargaining tools because a 3g contract is already in place-it's just the rate that needs to be set.I believe that it is the other way around and IDCC is holding the cards and that negotiating after a favorable award would be disastrous for Nok.A settlement is still best for both parties and a best case scenario would be Nok purchasing a stake in IDCC.Haven't seen 30's for 5 years but a favorable settlement should get us there fast.jmho-glta
