I'm tolerating this post because the death of Osama bin Laden is very big news, I think the desire to share our thoughts on the news with our fellow investors outweighs the usual board limitations on topical posts (especially given PTQ is trading pretty slow anyway), davidjk hadn't shared his thoughts yet, and as a New Yorker I imagine the issue touches a little closer to home for him than most of the rest of us.

With that said, (and this is addressed to all board members), at this point most of us have shared our thoughts on the bin Laden affair. I'll tolerate a few laggards who haven't commented yet, and a few responses to their posts, but overall its time to get back on topic. There are forums online to discuss political matters - this isn't one of them.
