Is there additional information that would confirm your statement that the possible settlement for Daval would be way over $50 million?
The big issue with AT&T and Sprint is the definition of a "Completed" call, which will in turn define how much of the Dial Around Compensation will be paid out. This is exactly what the parties are going to trial about to argue whether a completed call should be 30 seconds or something much higher. AT&T is surely getting all its available data to argue for a much higher completion call time. If AT&T argues for a call completion of say one minute or more, then the potential settlement to Daval could be substantially less than $50 million. AT&T likely has some good support on call data for a much higher call completion time, which might explain why they are not agreeing to settle at this time.
