Let’s get one thing straight right now, no one is shorting ECDC!
This is the current short sales for ECDC, March, 31 2011 was the last short sale of this stock. the short sale numbers your referring to are sales by mm’s that are trading unsettled shares, this does not mean that they are blind shorting but that they do not have possession of the actual shares at the moment but they do own the shares they are selling. Hence they are recorded as a short sale just as they would be in your account if you flipped shares you just purchased!
To say that people are shorting millions of shares of ECDC is very misleading and as a MOD you should know this fact and in general know better IMO than to mislead traders of a lesser caliber than yourself!
