I kinda agree kidnova, but the FDA is a major piece of the puzzle - no country has the disposable income that the US has and if we aren't allowed to buy it because it hasn't been proven safe, other countries (IMO) will see that and be apprehensive about purchasing such a good as well -

i mention disposable income because Tylenol and Advil are tried and true - they know that will take away their pain - this patch is just a gimmick to them at this point and who's willing to risk $10-$30 for a patch when they can buy pills that they know work - the only country with the "real" ability to do that is the US, once it gets its foothold in the US, i think other countries will follow suit. for the most part, i think even though we're (the US) is on the tail end of innovation, we use it and try it out for the rest of the world and when we say it's a good product, it then becomes popular and it is then trusted in other countries
