Steady rain will hold off in Western Oregon and Southwest Washington until this afternoon. Until then, expect sun breaks, mostly cloudy skies and daytime highs around 58 degrees. Computer models show a front moving in after 3pm. This front will produce at least .30" of rain through tomorrow morning. Snow levels will drop to 2500 feet by morning. Another foot of mountain snow is possible in the Cascades over the next 24 hours.
Tomorrow, the afternoon could turn stormy. Cold air behind the front will likely cause hailstorms or isolated thunderstorms. The wet weather pattern will taper off by the weekend. Right now, the current extended forecast for the weekend looks dry and warmer!
