why highly unlikely? i remember reading somewhere that nok was cutting back on its r&d division-what better way to spin a loss than climb into bed with the company you were trying to screw-nok agrees to a lesser 2g payout,purchases 10% stake in idcc,agrees to 3g rate,gives credibility to idcc,stock explodes and nok makes out like a bandit! also explains that howie and rip had to go for deal to be consumated.big win for all-even howie & rip.
