... was the day of my first purchase. Recently I found my trade confirmation for those first 500 shares and framed it. I had subscribed to Gilder's newsletter earlier that year and as I recall there was a one line reference to WAVX in the July issue. I found the message board on SI, was quickly convinced this company had something great and then anxiously waited for the price to drop to an even $1 so I could make my entry.
Since then I have bought on 28 occasions, including yesterday, and I was inspired by your post to make my debut here. I have never posted before but I have literally read every post on this board,CCam, RB and SI for the past eight years.
Like many others, I convinced my brother to build a large position alongside mine. I don't claim to know computing but I do know business. I own a manufacturing company and I think I understand a good business plan. I know how long it takes for things to reach fruition and I know about the tipping point. I accept that Wave may fail, but like you, I think the evidence for success is overwhelming. I was there with you when it hit 50 last time and I'm not going anywhere.
Snackman, thanks for making this place possible; AWK thanks for keeping me confident in the dark days; to all the others who contribute so greatly, forgive me for not calling you by name but I look forward to meeting you in Vegas.
