It could be one of several options.

For one, maybe U-Vend no longer sells Kernels and is now picking up POPN as their new popcorn vending company. The last PR stated that there was a test run and it has been 2 weeks, so there could be a significant order for machines coming soon.

Secondly, maybe U-Vend is another lousy company that doesn't really sell much in terms of popcorn vending and the last PR was more smoke and mirrors to dupe investors out of more money.

Either way, the job that even a 5th grader could do in a short amount of time was lousy. It doesn't take much to remove the entire photo and add in a corrected photo without having to try to hide/cover the old pictures.

My take on the situation would be that U-Vend no longer sells Kernels, hence the photos being covered. Or, maybe they really do have a 5th grader fixing their website...
