CCME BUS number by city/airport

I asked my friend to check CCME. He visited Fujian headquarter office a few days ago to discuss placing a bus advertisement. CCME occupies first floor of the building. A young sales guy greeted him and gave him a quote. (Ad in Fujian province, 2283 buses, 30 days a month, 8 hours bus run time, 15 second per hour, 30 people per bus, and over ten millions views per month for 250,000 RMB per month, blah, blah..). My friend said his small local business can’t afford it. Then sale guy offer him the 5 second low cost ad choice for 94000 per month. CCME doesn’t create video ad, my friend need to provide the Video (avi, mpeg format with some quality requirement) and CCME will add video clip in their program file. When asking about the order of his ad being showed. Sales guy said first three ads in each ad program are taken by higher bid. Bottom three ads are also popular. So his ad will be in the middle of other ads. After seeing my friend not willing to buy, sales guy offered some unspecified discount, if a contract will be signed eventually.

Here is the bus number from the latest bus ad quote sheet. (price effective since 2/1/2011)
Province, # of buses
Beijing, 1497
Tianjin, 1509
HeBei, 607
Shanxi, 958
NeiMonggu, 816
Shanghai, 2127
Jiangsu, 2797
Zhejiang, 449
Anhui, 1019
Shangdong, 1673
Fujian, 2283
Jiangxi, 640
Guangdong, 2189
Hunan, 1432
Hubei, 1562
Henan, 2244
SiChuan, 1502
Chongqing, 1230

AIRPORT, # of buses
Beijing, 229
Guangzhou, 131
Qingdao, 32
Changsha, 45
Chengdu, 101
Chengdu terminal shuttle, 11
Chongqing, 26
Shijiazhuang, 50
Fuzhou, 44

Total, 27203

I compare to the 2010 rate card on CCME web site http://www.ccme.tv/eng/pns/rate.php. It seems 2010 bus number are rounded up. It is normal in China to round up your number, but that is double counting when being audited.

Province, 2010 bus #, 2011 bus #
Beijing, 1500, 1497
Shanghai, 2200, 2127
So Bus # in Shanghai is 6% double counted, assuming bus operator didn’t add or drop the bus.

Other differences in 2010, 2011 rate quote are that CCME added a few thousand buses for 4 more provinces (Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hunan, Henan) and 4 more airports
ChangSha Huanghua international airport
Chengdu shuangliu international airport
ChongQing jiangbei international airport
Shijiazhuang zhengdiang international airport

I confirmed CCME sell ad on Chengdu airport bus (100 buses) after speaking with a local ad company. I plan to make more phone calls to verify bus on other market.
