I think the reason Aureleius wants to get involved with mediation is because they have been caught red handed with the inside trading issue and wants to workout a deal to keep from getting charged with insider trading. The other SNH hedgefunds will want to get involved with mediation too shortly. Aurelius is smart they are going to get in with mediation to try and workout a deal before their deposition date comes up. IMO
