What F6 does not reveal is that ...

(1) Public companies, institutions, independent advisory firms (ISS), and THINKING shareholders are ALL moving to REPEAL classified boards (and poison pills as well)? The unmistakable trend is DOWN. So, why is this? Perhaps the increased accountability of a declassified Board is the MOST important and primary benefit? See:

"Major Milestone in Takeover Defenses Likely to be Achieved this Year
New York - March 17, 2005 John Laide

By the end of 2005, it's likely that a majority of the companies in the S&P 500 will not have a classified board or poison pill in place for the first time in 17 years."

(2) The proposal in question is non-binding and phased, so how exactly does it translate into "a full-blown proxy contest next year"?

(3) Exactly why is a classified board in the best interest of shareholders?

(4) According to his prior posts, his personal business includes helping companies install classified boards and poison pills. Perhaps HE has a personal interest in promoting such things?

Nope, F6 doesn't reveal these facts or talk about the real issues involved. Rather, when he wants your opinion, he'll give you his.

Go ahead, F6, avoid the serious questions above. Who am I to ask anything of you?
