I'm about a 13 year or so long who continues to be perplexed by statements like "wait 'till the street finds out about us" or "people still don't know about Wave or TPMs", etc., etc. And I ask myself why don't people know about us at this stage in the game. And I think, what harm could possibly come, or what possible downside is there, from WAVE doing a one week TV advertising campaign followed up by other media spots (internet, etc.)? If nothing else, it would make people aware of TPMs, the name WAVE SYSTEMS, and what the company does. And those people would include not just consumers, but IT managers as well. Here's the campaign: "TURN IT ON!!" TURN ON WHAT?? THE TPM...IT"S IN YOUR MACHINE ALREADY!!" And then a couple of blurbs about the benefits to both consumers and businesses, and then finally advising them to employ WAVE SYSTEMS state of the art software to manage the TPM.
It just seems to me that we are sitting on a powder keg of potential and we are afraid to light the fuse because of a fear of not having enough sales people or technical people to support a possible avalanche of interest. If that's the case (and I don't know that it is)that is not a winning strategy.
Now take it easy on me here, if this is a "stupid" question. Remember: Smart people are able to answer "stupid" questions in an intelligent and civil manner. Thanks
