anything under $500k is a huge disaster.
they desperately need a $1,000,000. sales year for 2010.
all the PR's about new distributors here and there, do zero for the bottom line. Anyone can sign distributors. The trick is getting the first order to be significant.
Many distributors will sign on to a brand to keep it from cannibalizing there existing business. whether its direct competition from a like item or simply something in a related category that consumes share of shelf and consumes the budgeted category buying dollars.
