eric...So does this mean whoever is entering into this deal knows something that hasn't been made public? Therefore, they are willing to take a "risk" on the stock price?

Not at all. It means they have done extensive due diligence and believe enough in the company and the appreciation of the SP that they are willing to be "locked up" for at least a year.
