The 1 to 100 ratio is actually needed for uplisting. Let me explain what I'm thinking is going through Ferris's head:

The NASDAQ minimum stock price to STAY listed is $1, but the minimum stock price to get INITIALLY listed is $4.

Taking into consideration pre-RS price drops and post-RS price drops, Ferris wants to be sure this stock stays above $4/sh.

So I'm assuming the company has some agenda to keep the price from crashing, news?
