Sorry you are wrong, I have requested my certs for EIGH and they dont have them, so thats one strike, 2nd strike is that EIGH is not DRS nor DTC registered = meaning the stock can not trade electronically, and 3rd when comparing volume to from ETMM during the suspension on EIGH til now, it has risen dramatically suggesting NITE could not hold most of the load anymore and needed assistance....The whole thing stinks...I realize NITE is the one with the largest trading volume but for ETMM to appear out of nowhere and all of a sudden start trading stock as if there are real shares out there is just nieve for anyone to think at this point....So the truth is out there, all you have to do is look.....So I refuse to think that ETMM (ETRADE) is not in trouble.....Time will tell for sure....My gut says ETRADE is guilty! - onehundredmph

Just because your broker, ETrade, can't deliver certs, doesn't mean their market maker dug them into a possible hole. It is likely that NITE is responsible for the electronic markers (IOU's) in your account, as well as other Etrade retail accounts.

It is possible ETMM is now attempting to cover some of those markers to reduce the risk NITE possibly has subjected them to. Also possible that NITE is over extended as a result of their short selling practices.

Did you notice that 2 of NITE's biggest electronic trading managers resigned on February 28, 2011? The day the new shorting rules went into effect?

Take a looks at HESG and NITE's stock charts. HESG was 20% of NITE's total volume in 2009. The following links are very interesting.

FYI Etrade also uses AUTO and NITE as well as their own market makers ETMM and ETRF.
