There is a big difference between a focused beam of radiation as used to kill cancer cells in medical treatment and whole body exposure from nuclear fallout. Cancer can kill very quickly once it spreads throughout the body or destroys an organ like the liver as my neighbor that died last week from very quickly. Just because someone gets radiation therapy for cancer does not mean the cancer has not already began to spread and will be stopped.

I have worked with people that have been burned by high exposure to strong radiation in industrial settings and it is not a pretty sight. It is not what anybody wants to be exposed to. There have been some good posts to educate you on here tonight, you would be wise to learn from them rather than going off on this radical notion that all this is BS and lies.
