I never said there was a squeeze coming. I said there could be some covering coming and this could thin out and gap up if there has indeed been some shorting going on.

I've also never said the short interest numbers should equal the daily short volume either. I said the daily numbers are merely an indicator of what "could" be happening. The short interest numbers report after a bi-weekly time period, so of course they wont be the same if some covering has occured.


I've seen plenty of pinks with very dramatic PPS increases in a very short time period. Now, the debate can go on and on if it was indeed a "short squeeze" or not. May or may not be... GOIG April 12, 2010 comes to mind.
