Hi stock,
The best thing it seems- is to buy/sell the option.
That is,
Take your profits if any... and then re invest in the underlying asset if you would like to do so.
Ironically...I did that today infact.
I bought some AGQ @ 200/SHARE approx.
so....you could buy 200 worth of options...and that would = probably 4000 worth of stock purchases.
------
Anotherwords with APPL.... lets say you buy 6 contracts for jan12/jan13..
you could sell half(3) of them and buy the underlying asset outright dollar for dollar.
I dont think most CONVERT their options...since you HAVE TO PLOP DOWN 100 x'S the amount in real money.
Most just gamble/risk/pre set dollar amounts and buy a contract. And sell them.
**I bought some real Silver and some real securities.
The options I had took some major swings...
So...
its all about exposure to risk/reward. (3 different methods, in this case).
It is a puzzling thing. The truth knocks on the door and you say, "Go away, I'm looking for the truth," and so it goes away. Puzzling.
