The local council was questioning the utility that services the Big Island of Hawaii, which presently provides 30% renewable energy and is heading to 50%.

They also mentioned a possible storage battery for the wind farms that loads and discharges immediately. I feel sure that they meant a VRB, but they didn't go into its details.
