I wonder if Fifer sees this as the perfect time to buy up some Cu real estate in Spain, somewhere Inmet is currently operating anyway, given Martinelli has put the chill on Cobre Panama?
It wouldn't be a bad play. Lundin was a buy-out target for Inmet. With Equinox putting the heat on that acquisition, and Inmet looking to expand, maybe Fifer figures he can make PTQ a more attractive buy-out target if it's bundled with a copper property in Spain. Or maybe he just wants to flip Iberian to Inmet. Or maybe he wants to grow oranges. Hell, I don't know.
I miss when all we had to debate was how successful PTQ/PDI were going to be.
