paheka, a beat would have helped, but might not have stopped the decline later on. As I said, it is either impatient money leaving the stock or someone playing it again. In either case, it wouldn't have mattered unless there is more than just an estimate beat.
I am pretty sure that the incomplete information about 9M is definitely not the reason for the sell off....the market conditions are certainly fueling the downward movement.
