Formula IF statements. In the Excel spread sheet one of the cells has the following IF formula:

=IF(B29<>"",J29*D29/100,"")

Now I am fimilar with IF statements but this one has me confused. What does B29<>"" mean. Normally you would use B29< Number or cell or B29> Number or cell.

Can anyone help me out.
