Launched in 2010, G2E Asia Scholarship is to honor exceptional and talented students from the University of Macau the opportunity and support to further their knowledge and prepare for their careers in the gaming and hospitality industry. G2E Asia 2011 Scholarship is now open for application, interested students who are currently enrolled in the Gaming Management Program for Gaming and Hospitality Management Program should submit their application via here. Deadline for application is January 21, 2011.

A 25 year veteran of the industry who worked his way up from dealer, Piacente advises casinos on detection and prevention of table game cheating. He has put his experience gained on the gaming floors of Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and Reno to work for more than 70 casinos and law enforcement agencies.
At the Game Protection Seminar, Piacente will display his extraordinary dexterity, demonstrating common cheating techniques including false shuffles, recording the cards, stacking the deck, and the classic slug scam. Piacente also will reveal the psychology behind scams, all with a strong emphasis on detection and deterrence to give you the tools to stop the cheats.
