We've been having a little discussion on Yahoo about whether Jorma will settle or just let things hit the wall.

And it occured to us that, if IDCC wins the Award, a full settlement, including prepaying 2G for two years, and prepaying 3G for two years, could approach $1 billion, plus or minus.

This, of course, depends on an Award in the $400 milion range, including interest, etc.

If this is a possibility, it would not be an easy decision for Jorma. It would make a big noise on Wall Street, not to mention the boardroom in EspooLand.

Would any of your people care to take a run at the total tab for a "complete" settlement?
