First of all, PDI is not going to build a global-class mine with five Caterpillar 40-ton articulated trucks. I don't care how much equipment $17M can lease, it's not going to build Cobre Panama.

Second, who says SNC-Lavalin isn't hiring Panamanians? Who says they won't sub-contract PDI? I'm not saying they won't. I'm asking you to make a case instead of just expecting people to believe everything you say.

Just say, "Yes Lojiko, SNC-Lavalin has been awarded a contract to build Cobre Panama, along with partners GyM S.A. (a member of Graña y Montero Group) and Techint International Construction Corp., but I believe PDI will be profitable because of X, Y, and Z." It's that easy.

I don't want a gold-only company, I want you to quit spouting baseless nonsense about PDI building all this stuff when it's OBVIOUS that Inmet has awarded the contract to (and I quote), "Joint Venture Panama Inc. (JVP), a joint venture led by SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. (70%) with partners
GyM S.A. (a member of Graña y Montero Group) (15%) and Techint International Construction Corp. (15%)."

There's the link. Read it. Quit leading people on that PDI is going to be some mega-construction company. It's first and foremost mission is to assist mining at Molejon, the gold mine you and I own. If you seriously think PDI is going to win $1B in contracts to build Cobre Panama, then make your case.

I demand evidence. The evidence is that Inmet awarded the contracts for the initial phase, expected to last 12 months, to Joint Venture Panama (per the link, "The initial phase of the EP+CM contract will involve basic engineering for all facilities except the power plant, and should take approximately 12 months to complete."). Call me a stickler for detail, but to me, the phrase "all facilities" implies that there won't be a whole lot left over for PDI to build, will there? It also says they've already upgraded access roads roads to the site and built two bridges. PDI is (strangely enough *sarcasm*) not mentioned.

If you're speculating, then say so. Don't lead people on with BS about billion dollar contracts when it's pretty damned obvious that the contracts went to Joint Venture Panama Inc.

You didn't seem to have a clue about PDI back in NOV 2009, but now you want to pretend you're the expert. Read your own post:
