Just got off the phone with a “Gordon”, could not hear his last name clearing due to my cell phone and/or his phone. He was not mean or ugly as some have posted on the boards. He could not speak to me long, but did mention to me that he is working on the 10k. By his tone, he seemed like he was under a lot of pressure to get the 10k out. As we closed, I thanked him and he said “no problem”.

The guy sounded like he spoke with an accent, possibly from another country; and there is nothing wrong with that. Keep in mind that many people from other countries are blunt and to the point (which Gordon was). However, he was not rude! Granted, you would hope that someone who answers the phone for any company would be more professional. Personally, I did not finding him insulting. I’ve been in many instances where I was under the gun; and, I sure didn’t want people bothering me constantly on schedules, when that is what I was working on.

If you want, you can write to Tom Large, President and CEO, at tom@trby.com. The company’s correct number is (516) 747-5955, not 516-747-5665. The number is straight from the last PR issued last month: http://biz.yahoo.com/pz/050308/74034.html

My advice would be to wait a few days before calling. Give the company time to finish the 10k.
