So what happens when the patent runs out?

Sam and Paul are both screwed and someone else is making their version of the harp?

Which leaves me to ask...What does he think his chances are in the trial then? Wouldn't you want that part of the patent if you felt you were going to win? Should I bring up the other patent that Paul still hasn't paid for? Or is that why we're moving lower and lower...
