Yes, I agree, there must be a secret, as the MMs wouldn't waste their time with this. It's not worth their effort, and there definitely isn't any interest. Well not much anyway, except with those that have a legitimate axe to grind. This has been a strange journey, no trading at all for weeks, if not months, and then a flurry of trades, and then nothing again. I always believed that they (or he) had their reasons and justifications, that he just didn't care to deal with it anymore, which is only a luxury if one can afford it, which in itself gave me the confidence to hang in there. I have my shares with Etrade and Zecco, and both allow trading.
