G'm Lizard friend. Here's todays W & T and about 2" of snow here over nite. We now B the frozen-chozen TOO...LOL...just heard on our local news, SF will get some snow also...WHOAAA!!!
A lot of you have been emailing, calling or Twittering with this question. Are we really going to get snow? My answer continues to be yes. Everything is lining up for the biggest late season snow event in almost 20 years.
Tonight we will continue to see snow showers. As colder air arrives snow levels will work there way down below 1000ft. Sow showers will fall on the valley floor late afternoon. Snow will accumulate in the low hills around the Portland/Vancouver metro area.
Todays a mix of rain and snow showers will fall most of the day. As arctic air pushes in late in the afternoon snow will start sticking. Todays afternoon commute could be messy with sticking snow falling on the valley floor. From this evening through Thursday up to 4" of snow could fall in downtown. Higher snow amounts are likely in the hills. Once the snow arrives it will be slow to leave. The cold arctic air will stay in place through the week and first part of the weekend.
Tonight's low 29
Todays high 37
