Pacer, Patents purchased, a connection?

Did anyone figure out the source or nature of the patents purchased recently? As I recall, someone reported the company did not disclose this info due to competitive reasons.

Does this mean the company does not want any competitors to compete for other patents from the same source in the future?

I don't know if this is related, and this may be old news, but in searching Pacer recently, it seems there was a claim by IDCC against Lomp that was dismissed a couple of years ago. However, if Lomp took some patents of interest from IDCC, then maybe this dismissed claim has something to do with the patents purchased recently by IDCC?
