The PUC STAFF is NOT the PUC Commission who is voting.

It is like here at my company. I am a Network Domain Administrator but I get opinions from marketing on how I should use Office 2010 for the entire company. They are using it (Free Download version) and they like it.

That sounds great but they are not seeing the big picture. Even though they can use Office 2010 other departments like accounting, credit and MIS needs to run macros on databases that are not compatible with Office2010. Not to mention we would have to get an enterprise license to distribute office 2010. How much will that cost. Let’s not forget how is the program going to get onto their machines, it takes time and $$.


So the PUC Staff is like my marketing department their recommendation also comes on my company’s letter head, but they do not have the power to know the entire picture.
